A Delicious, Murderous, Mystery Lunch!
Join the Rotary Club of Plymouth for a fun-filled murder mystery luncheon. Program includes lunch from Karl’s Cabin and reenactments of Ed Wendover’s recent book Murder Before Supper at Rustic Tavern. The book centers around the murder of a local judge at a popular rustic eatery. Actors include Ed Wendover and former Rotarian and retired judge, Ron Lowe. Tickets are $25

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: W. Edward Wendover’s family farm was a short horse ride to this Rustic Tavern. In 1963 — at the age of 15 — he rode his horse to the tavern for the first time, tied it up outside, then went inside and put a quarter on the bar for a beer. Graduating from Plymouth High School in 1966, he later became Editor of The Plymouth Mail & Observer, then Publisher of The (Plymouth-Canton) Community Crier. He also led a First Amendment case to the U.S. Supreme Court and was President of the Michigan Press Association. For the past 11 years, he has been traveling the U.S. and Canada, living and writing full-time from his custom bus.
ABOUT THE BOOK: Murder Before Supper at Rustic Cabin was published in 2025 by W. Ed Wendover who will be available to sign copies of his book after the luncheon. Ed is donating $10 from the sale of every book (books are $25) to the Plymouth Rotary Foundation.
